The Best Garlic Bread

Easy and delicious garlic bread

Ingredients:
  • 1 Loaf French or Italian Bread (in my opinion, the crustier the better)

  • 1 Stick of Softened Butter

  • A couple TB of Olive Oil

  • 4-6 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced 

  • About ½ Cup* of Parmesan, doesn’t matter if shredded, grated, etc.

  • About ½ Cup* Italian Parsley, finely chopped

Instructions:
  1. Preheat broiler on High setting.

  2. Line a cookie sheet with tin foil.

  3. Slice your loaf of bread lengthwise.

  4. In a bowl, mix together your Butter, Olive Oil, Garlic, Parmesan, and Parsley.

  5. Spread the mixture generously along both lengths of Bread.

  6. Place the bread on the baking sheet and broil for 3-4 minutes until it’s bubbly and starting to brown.  Broilers have a pretty wide range of cooking time, so keep a close eye on it.

*I don’t measure anything in this, but I’m thinking “a handful” will roughly translate to ½ cup.
